Bartlett Tree Experts' policy is, and has always been, to promote individuals from within whenever possible. In many instances, the people holding key positions in our company today worked their way up through the ranks to their current position.

The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories in Charlotte, North Carolina is at the forefront of arboricultural science, continually developing new procedures for tree and shrub care. We have at our disposal a modern, fully equipped laboratory with an extensive library, an education center, an arboretum containing about 2,000 species of trees and plants, and multiple working test plots.

Staffed with scientists in fields such as plant pathology, entomology, and botany, the labs advise our arborists on the latest advances in arboriculture. Our team is capable of evaluating plant samples, culturing and identifying disease-causing organisms, identifying insects, and performing complete soil analysis services. Each year the diagnostic clinic receives more than 6,000 plant samples for analysis for insect pests, diseases, and cultural and environmental problems. Over 10,000 soil samples are processed from our clients' properties annually.

We believe that employees and the company grow and progress together and that we must all work as a team to be successful. You are given the tools to progress in the direction that you desire through professional development and continuing education programs. We encourage active involvement in local International Society of Arboriculture chapters and other green industry organizations.
